The Fusilier Complex is a non-profit private membership only range that provides a safe and enjoyable place for rifle, handgun and shotgun shooters.  Memberships are available.  Please call 337-754-5115 for membership details.  We will be posting an application on the Downloads page.

The handgun facility consists of a covered firing line and a firing range with berms on three sides.  There are backstops provided at 15, 25, 50 and 75 yards.  You can provide your own target backstops (as long as they are the same height off the ground as the existing backstops).  Shooting at targets on the ground are not allowed due to increased danger of ricochets.

The rifle facility consists of a covered firing line with 30 concrete benches.  Backstops are provided at 100, 200 and 300 yards.  The same rules about ground targets apply to the rifle range also.  A project is underway to provide a long range facility for 200 yards to 1000 yard capability.  We expect to get this project underway in 2010.

The shotgun facility consists of a trap machine and and a mechanical thrower.  The mechanical thrower is available for use by all range members.  The trap machine has been out of service for some time, but plans are underway to get personnel trained on it and schedule regular shoots.

The range is located on 640 acres owned by the club.  The club does lease the land for farming and the range is closed to shooting while farming operations are underway as a safety precaution.  This does not impact very many days during the year and we are still working on the best method to notify members of those days.
