The Fusilier Complex presents:

When it comes to learning about handguns, shooting and firearms ownership, not knowing how or where to start can be an intimidating hurdle for newcomers. First Shots® provides opportunities to get started and the support to continue in handgun shooting. First Shots also offers shotgun and rifle seminars at select ranges across the country. The Fusilier Complex is bringing it to a range in Acadiana. Firearms and ammunition are provided by several sporting goods companies.
Seminars will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 during the range open house on National Hunting and Fishing Day. Seminars will be conducted for pistol, rifle and shotgun shooting. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. There is no fee for the seminars, but pre-registration is required. Please email firstshotsatfusiliercomplex@yahoo.com for registration information. Pre-registration is easy, just email your information (to the link provided - or copy the link to your email program). We will need your name, address and phone number and which seminars you are interested in - Pistol, Rifle or Shotgun (you can sign up for more than one). Or you can call 337-754-5115 (Monday and Tuesday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 noon).
The will be a pistol seminar at 9:00 am on the 26th. The pistol seminar will feature both revolvers and semi-automatic handguns in 22 rimfire. The rifle seminar will be at 11:00 am. The rifles will be 22 caliber bolt actions and AR-15's in .223 Remington. A shotgun seminar will be at 1:00 pm. The shotguns will be both 20 ga. and 12 ga. If needed, more seminars can be added to satisfy demand. That is why pre-registration is required so that all can be accommodated. If you can't make it on the 26th but would be interested to participate on a future date, please let us know that also. Eye and ear protection will be provided, all you need to bring is yourself!
